boo everyone
booo everyone.
the last time i came and typed boo everyone i cried so dint update. sorreh. time passes really fast. it's already one week after gongyan. and today's the first dazu without sec4s. it just feels.. so diff. when i look up infront of me, i no longer see may and gil. all i see is yangqins. when i look towards the right, i dont see huiling and my teddy bear seat anymore. and i turn behind there's no more cihan laughing for no reasons. and there's no more mindy and jean staring at each other. it just feels weird. and diff. T_T
and of cos we would want the sec4s to continue posting right? we will NEVER find you all busybodys or extras or blah.
ONCE A RGCOHUUZA, ALWAYS A RGCOHUUZA! =)
anyway. these are just some random comments i found about gongyan when i went blog surfing.
"afterwards went to the rgco concert. before tt rushed to buy flowers. so sad in the end no one to give to. it was better than expected. ttk's conducting and wang mama's conducting got different effect one. haha! but very funny la, their 30th anniversary still ask indian orchestra to come and play. our 30th ann was like, totally re nao and all the principals came or something. hmm. but it was good la. got alot of familiar songs, prob cuz we have the same teachers. oh well. ling an was good. cao yuan mu ming was good. the guzhengs were good. liu qins also (but they got 8 liu qins we only got 3.). then they memorized everything!! so pro. only bass got score la. but they paiwei very very very long! they no pu jia still take so long. wah we whole day get scolded by mollie, practice for how many hours to pai in 45 seconds den they can take 3 minutes plus. unfair. anyway we dybians were very extra and gave them a standing ovation. even though they didnt really deserve a standing ovation. even we dont get standing ovations. their songs most of them we play before and guess it wasnt very difficult. and it's very very weird to see girls play long teng hu yue. that girl like no strength one, cannot hear the drums. then her actions like very fake, like trying to act seh. cuz the amount of strenght she use is impossible to have that kind of actions naturally. not like our dear jonathan/primero. first beat on the drum already people start to clap. so seh. PAH! pah pah pah pah.....PAH! hahaha. sorry i dunno how to describe. anyway, saw yanjin gillian and eehuang. hm. gillian has changed alot."
"anw, just came back from rgco concert. hmm pretty impressive i must say. on the overall the orchestra songs were really well done i must say. quite an improvement from the previous concert. chang cheng was good, manjianghong was really nice. as for long teng, ehh must admit that the atmosphere was not there. the song just sounds better to me when i am playing, not listening. dun have the shuang gan. think the percussion was good lar. haha manjianghong was really an impact in the start. very zhuang kuo de gan jue. very wei wu xiong zhuang. fits into the yue fei scenario. haha. pretty much enjoyed that."
"the first half concert was not bad, and jingxuan's pipa solo was quite zai, but the second half was a different story. The indian orchestra performed FIVE songs forming the majority of the second half."
"thought it's quite gd..compared to our sch..they can play really well w/o the conductor..
especially the xianyue section which is so coordinated..the main focus is the 1st song chang cheng..it's really nice..some pple left during the interval..wonder y ah..cos after tat most of the songs are played by the indian orchestra..lol..the chuida section not bad though..weiyuan keeps on pointing out yawen who is playing the middle drums"

1. we had to pay 12 bucks for our seats when the same seats in the left block cost like 10 bucks onli
2. i thought they were going to play the whole chang cheng and then turned out onli a little of third and the fouth movement. and there's NO SOLO at all. It's just like a normal da zhu piece. argh.
3. it wasn't exactly a co concert cuz like our of 13 songs onli 8 was played by co and the rest was by the rg indian orchestra! grrr. so then me and wenqi didn't listen to it. we bummed around with drinks until the last indian song then we went in.
sigh totally cheated me of TWELVE bucks. sigh."
"then was the rgco concert, muz say tat the turn out was damn good!!! almost a full house lor!!! my god, i never saw soooo many pple coming for rgco concerts... well done gals! although it was damn tough being the ass stage manager, cuz we sort of screwed up most of the arrangements of chairs... but still it was a good experience for me, i shall not do backstage anymore.."
"rgsco concert is ok...they played relatively simple songs..only two dazu songs...compared to ours...and then they memorise the whole piece!!!!!...haah..but bass is quite a failure..only ppl with scores...the cellos are not bad...sure lah..under the same teachers as us..but long teng hu yue they not very gd...tt is the chui da section...cos they are girls mah..so definitely softer and so the solo drummer can't do very loud like dhs djy guyz..can't blame them..then abt 1/2 of the concert is played by the indian orchestra..to think it is rgco 30th anniversary concert..then the guzheng very nice!!!..and the last two orchestra piece very nice...u noe why???..cos it is conducted by our dear TTK!!!!!!!.."
"The concert, not bad larHx, hai guo de qu. Lacking the most is yin-zhun ba, I supposed, esp cello and bass. Den heard that their cello and bass rely on seniors de. Haha =P. okiEx larHx, as compared to 2 years ago? Other thing is that, the songs conducted by Tay Yeow Kiat sounds better than those by Huang Gui Ying? uMmps… haha =P.
Aniwae, dah concert oso combined with RG Indian Orch. Can fall asleep de lorHx. The melody arHx, is like keeps repeating. Repeat and repeat, dunno repeat until how many times den enough. Budden still ok larHx… and we suspect that there’s a generator among the instruments. Haha =P."
